What's in a solar system
A well-designed solar system is about more than just the panels. each component needs to work together efficiently. Here's what we specify and why.
Tier-1 monocrystalline panels chosen for New Zealand conditions, with long performance warranties and roof-specific mounting for tile, colour steel or membrane roofs.
String or hybrid inverter sized to your array. A hybrid inverter means a battery can be added later without replacing hardware.
Battery storage starts at around 5 kWh and is sized to suit your evening power use, with backup circuits so essentials keep running in an outage.
App-based monitoring shows generation, consumption, export and battery state, so you can see exactly what the system is doing.
7 kW or 22 kW chargers that can be set to top up from surplus solar rather than the grid.
We handle the network application, export approval and metering changes with your lines company and retailer.
